    Salary: $30.07 – $34.99 Per Hour 

    What You’ll Do

    • Transport ReDiscover clients comfortably in a ReDiscover owned van in a timely manner.
    • Provide a welcoming atmosphere that is free of distractions.
    • Show sensitivity to and appreciation of issues related to age, religion, ethnicity, race, socio-economic status and sexual orientation and gender and demonstrates respectful and appropriate language and non-verbal behavior.     • May perform agency courier duties.

    • Record vehicle mileage for program tracking purposes.
    • Work with ReDiscover staff to provide clerical assistance in an effort to help the program in a cost-effective manner.

    Requirements of the Position

    • High school diploma or GED is required.
    • Must maintain a valid chauffeur’s Class E drivers license.
    • The ability to work with all persons with multiple challenges (mental illness, substance abuse, physical challenges, developmental disabilities, etc.
    • Ability to work 24hours in a business week. Mon-Wed or Wed-Fri depending on availability, 7AM-4PM.

    Salary: $25-$37 per hour

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from Dispatcher/Supervisor

    • Drives truck to destination.

    • Operates vehicle in accordance with Waste Management Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.
    • Drives a solid waste and/or recycling collection vehicle on designated routes throughout City streets.
    • Collects solid wastes and/or recycling materials at various locations, including bags and garbage cans.
    • Positions and returns containers on the customer’s property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced. Closes enclosure doors and secures gates, ensures containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.

    Duties Summary

    Plans, directs, and coordinates the operations and activities of the mass transit program for the County of Hawai’i; oversees the agency’s field operations; develops and implements policies and procedures; and performs other related duties as required.

    Minimum Qualification Requirements

    Training and Experience:
    A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to:

    • graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree (scan and attach a copy of your official college transcript to your application), and
    • four (4) years of professional work experience in planning and coordinating activities for a mass transit program, of which
    • one (1) year shall have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity, and

  • Courier Driver

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    The purpose of this position is to drive a light vehicle to pick up and deliver library books and materials to designated locations as scheduled. This position is responsible for the safe operation of a county vehicle, reporting any issues to vehicle maintenance, and assists in bringing donated items back to the headquarters library for processing. This position is responsible for loading and unloading the transport vehicle, and may be required to perform other courier tasks to address other business concerns. May also be required to provide some assistance with light circulation duties, assists with marketing and publicity, occasionally assist patrons at public service points, and provide other assistance with coverage of branches as needed.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

    Required: Valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    The work is medium work which requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

    Delivery Driver – Class 5 License

    Time: 8:30am-4:30pm, 30 min break. OT on an approval basis

    Requirements: DZ License and above

    Be a part of a wholesale distribution company that is growing.

    Responsibilities

    · Loading the truck with all required products

    · Ensure all orders are placed in the correct order with the delivery schedule

    · Deliver all orders in a timely fashion, OT when needed

    · Provide customer service to all customers

    · Write down all returns from customers

    · Note down any feedback from the customer

    · Ensure products are not damaged when delivering products

    · Use pallet jack or hand bomb items as needed

    · Aide by all traffic rules and regulations

    · Clean truck as needed

    · Ensure truck is properly maintained and the gas tank is full as needed

    · Schedule routine vehicle check-ups including oil, brake function, water, lights and tire condition

    · Assist warehouse activities if all deliveries are done

    · When no deliveries are planned for the day, warehouse responsibilities will be assigned

    · Plan with the team to ensure smooth logistical operations

    · Maintain clean and organized work surroundings
