    Essential Job Functions

    • Warmly welcome guests, creating a positive first impression of hotel. Hold doors open while guests go through.
    • Transport guests to and from designated and approved locations using official hotel vehicles (cars or vans). Operate hotel vehicles in a safe manner and in accordance with established laws. Perform assigned duties associated with guest transportation (ex. maintain logs, show videos, etc.). Read, track and comply with guest transportation schedules established on a daily basis.
    • Properly maintain and clean hotel vehicles.
    • Must be able to drive a manual and automatic transmission vehicle.

    • Lift luggage, packages and boxes from cars, buses, vans and carts, placing items on the ground, onto baggage carts, conveyors or other vehicles.
    • Clearly communicate the features, and services of the hotel facilities.
    • Maintain an alert and attentive demeanor.
    • Maintain cleanliness of the hotel vehicles by cleaning and washing it when appropriate.
    • Take vehicles for periodic servicing and fueling as required.
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing English sufficient to ascertain and document appropriate pick up and drop off points, etc.
    • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger.
    • Ability to read English language to ascertain information from luggage tags, claim checks and to identify specific airline/customer pickup and drop off points and street signs.
    • Complete a pre-driving checklist for vehicles on a daily basis insuring that the following are in proper working order: lights, brakes and electric doors on vans and trucks, oil and tire pressure, transmission fluid, radiator fluid and gas at proper levels.
    • Develop and maintain productive interpersonal relationships and the ability to relate well with a wide variety of individuals, many of whom will require patience and tolerance.

    Education/Experience

    JOB SUMMARY

    Our drivers pick up and deliver medical equipment to hospitals, healthcare facilities and patient homes. Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service by adhering to delivery schedules and ensuring patient’s receive equipment timely.

    The anticipated hourly range for this position is $24.25 – $27.50. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Load and unload medical equipment, oxygen and supplies onto and off of delivery vehicles.
    • Pick up and deliver medical equipment.
    • Maintain a high level of professionalism and deliver high quality care while interacting with patients and healthcare staff.
    • Complete daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms, reimbursement documents and vehicle maintenance logs via paper or electronic means (cell phone and/or iPad).
    • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and daily inspections including the checking of gasoline, oil fluids, tire pressure and brakes. Responsible for reporting any issues or malfunctions to leadership.
    • Comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulatory requirements; including, practicing safe driving habits and providing required documents needed for the Driver Qualification File.
    • Adhere to mandatory reporting requirements; physical abuse of any family member, unsafe home environment for care ordered, unsanitary conditions or animals causing such, or insufficient food for children.
    • May clean and assist with the repair of equipment.
    • May assist with the scheduling of daily deliveries and pickups, ensuring they are organized in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Shuttle Driver

    Salary: $30K – $47K

    Meet, greet and welcome customers of WVU Medicine while manning the shuttles. The shuttle drivers must have great customer service and driving skills when operating the shuttles.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    10. Breaks are to be taken on non-peak times.

    11. Communication between drivers upon leaving or arriving at a destination is required via radio.

    12. Documentation of passengers is to be updated at all destinations.

    13. Any suspicious activity is to be reported to the Security Dispatcher immediately

    14. Any vehicle assist with other motorist or employees are to be reported to Security Dispatcher immediately.

    15. Must know how to operate wheelchair lift on handicap equipped Shuttles.

  • Van Driver Part Time

    Job Title: Part time Driver
    Pay Rate: $18/hr.

    The primary duty entails conveying people on van, or other light vehicle between locations.

    The driver is expected to greet customers, help them enter the bus or vehicle, and assist them with any special needs.

    In addition, the shuttle driver’s role also involves keeping the bus neat and making sure it is always in working condition. His/her work description also entails checking the car before and after each day’s run and noting and issues.   • SHUTTLE VAN DRIVER (PART-TIME)

    Essential Job Duties

    • Safely transport passengers to approved designated drop off & pick up points as approved by management
    • Check hands free device for connectivity before starting shift in vehicle
    • Perform vehicle safety inspection using checklist prior to transporting passengers
