    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure a high level of customer service is always provided
    • Prepare the truck for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing items, and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers
    • Unload products in a neat and orderly manner with or without the assistance of the customer
    • Build and maintain connections with customers; build trust and develop relationships
    • Maintain general understanding of products
    • Complete vehicle inspections: inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluid, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind
    • Deliver orders via the most effective route and ensure complete orders that are delivered in established time frames
    • Maintain communication with the company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received
    • Document delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer; report any discrepancies
    • Increase customer satisfaction by collecting feedback on service, when necessary, report feedback back to supervisor, and inform customers of new products and sales
    • Maintain and monitor the truck maintenance and driving records
    • Maintain a safe driving record that is free of violations
    • Inspect, accept, or reject shipments received from vendors
    • Operate the forklift to move, unload, or hoist all inbound and outbound shipments from all the trucks
    • Comply with DOT and OSHA Requirements

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greets each customer with a smile
    • Assists guests with loading golf bags into the shuttle safely and securely
    • Provides quick and pleasant customer courtesy, service, and satisfaction
    • Follows all established procedures for Shuttle Drivers, including pre-trip inspections, designated routes, accurate record-keeping, and regular, effective radio communication
    • Maintains accurate familiarity with Monster Golf Club, Resorts World Catskills, The Kartrite, The Alder and general area in order to answer questions and provide helpful information to our customers
    • Maintains a clean, pleasant, and calm environment inside the shuttle (including but not limited to, windows rolled up, company approved audio/video playing, interior lights on, no air freshener spraying, no items on the dashboard, and no food on shuttle)
    • Cooperates with all team members to provide the best possible service to all internal and external customers
    • Complies with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements governing, including Department of Transportation
    • Keeps all areas of shuttle clean (including shuttle interior and windows)
    • Complies with all uniform and appearance guidelines
    • Follows all company policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook
    • Performs additional duties as reasonably requested by Management, especially during downtimes

    Knowledge, Skills, & Experience Required:

    • High school education or equivalent
    • Previous driver and/or customer service experience
    • Good driving record as reported by the Department of Transportation is essential

    • Successful completion of Shuttle Driver Training

  • Driver – Iowa Veterans Home

    Job Description

    The Iowa Veterans Home is looking for a full time Driver to assist with transporting residents and staff for medical and miscellaneous trips.

    Duties include but not limited to:

    • Drive in a safe manner at all times and obeys all traffic laws.
    • Make decisions regarding transportation of residents if they develop health problems while enroute, such as returning, continuing the trip, or locating the nearest medical facility.
    • Transport staff to and from Iowa Correctional Institute for Women.
    • Return residents to IVH when being discharged from other facilities.
    • Transport residents and staff in all types of weather conditions.
    • Clean all vehicles in the IVH fleet inside and out on a regular basis.
    • Make minor repairs to vehicles: replace light bulbs, wiper blades, fuses, and topping fluids.
    • Conduct various office duties daily including checking resident trip schedule, emails, message board and cell phone messages.

    Special requirements include:

    • Must have CDL Class C or obtain within 6 months of hire.
    • Obtain Certified Nursing Aide certificate within 6 months of hire. CNA Certification classes are available IVH.

    Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

    • Correctly operates a tractor/trailer including road operation, backing and parking.

    • Transmits and receives over two-way communication systems.
