    About the Opportunity:

    As a Shuttle Driver, you will provide safe, reliable transportation for employees, legislators, visitors, and equipment throughout the Washington State Capitol Campus and surrounding area. You will operate a variety of light-duty vehicles, maintain shuttle cleanliness and fuel levels, support parking enforcement by reporting violations, and ensure accurate daily documentation through computer entries and written logs. This role also includes assisting with general departmental needs and performing other duties as assigned.

    Duties

    Some of What You’ll Enjoy Doing Includes:

    • Transport employees, legislators, visitors, and equipment around the Capitol Campus using light-duty trucks, passenger vans, and other shuttle vehicles.
    • Safely operate and maneuver all assigned vehicles in a variety of campus settings.
    • Clean, inspect, and maintain shuttle vehicles, including interior/exterior cleaning and fueling per DES procedures.
    • Support parking enforcement by reporting vehicles that violate parking policies.
    • Use computers and written logs daily to record times, passenger counts, and shift activities.
    • Other duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Valid driver’s license, free from serious traffic violations.
    • Ability to read and write in English, and perform work outdoors.
    • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact positively with a diverse population of customers and co-workers.
    • Flexibility to work varied days and nights.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • One (1) year of experience operating small, light-duty trucks and vans safely and skillfully.
    • Ability to transport and assist passengers in vehicles of fourteen (14) people or fewer.
    • Knowledge of rules for safe operation and equipment, state motor vehicle laws, and the rules governing the operation of state equipment, methods, tools, and materials used in service and maintaining equipment.

  • Delivery Driver (company car provided)

    Delivery Driver for Dino’s donuts, delivering to our accounts using our company vehicle.

    Other duties include taking phone orders, running errands, light kitchen cleanup and maintaining company vehicle by washing, vacuuming, and sanitizing.

    Minimum Qualifications

    There are no formal education or experience requirements. However, there are certain physical requirements.

    License Requirements:
    1. Candidates must possess a Motor Vehicle Drivers License valid in the State of New York and either 2 or 3 below.

    2. For appointment in certain agencies, possession of either a Class 1 or a Class 2 or a Class

    3 Motor Vehicles Drivers License, or a combination of these licenses, may be required at the time of appointment.

    3. For other agencies which do not require the licenses in 2 above at the time of appointment, possession of either a Class 3 Learners Permit or a Class 3 Drivers License is required at the time of appointment. In addition, for these agencies, the Class 3 license must be obtained within three months of the date of appointment.

    Summary

    To safely and comfortably transport and deliver broiler chicks to Perdue Farms’ contract producers.

    Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Prepare chick transport vehicles to receive up to 115,200 newly hatched chicks. Ensure environmental requirements of temperature and air flow are within specs prior to loading.
    • Navigate a safe and cost-efficient route to Perdue contract farms, located primarily in North and South Carolina, but could be throughout the southeast region of the US. The goal is to get the chicks to the farm as quickly and safely as possible.
    • Perform routine, minor maintenance and sanitation of transportation vehicles.
    • Monitor, record and report on farm conditions at the time of delivery.
    • Maintain FMCSA safe driving requirements, including but not limited to Hours of Service and Driver’s Logs.

    The Dealer Trade Driver plays an important support role within the dealership by safely transporting vehicles between locations, customers, and vendors on an as-needed basis. This is an on-call, part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys driving, takes pride in professionalism, and wants flexible hours.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive vehicles between dealerships for dealer trades, auction transfers, or customer deliveries.

    Position Summary

    A Driver is responsible for transporting residents (individuals or groups) to and from scheduled appointments, activities and other functions or locations. The Driver may

    Salary: $18.68 – $19.62 Per Hour

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Under general supervision, operates City passenger bus following either designated route and time schedule or demand – response ADA routing; insures safety of passengers at all times; performs related work as required.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Drives bus on designated route and time schedule or demand response ADA routes within City limits to pick up and discharge passengers at designated locations; occasionally transports passengers on special tours.
    • Insures safe operating condition of bus; checks engine, tires, fuel, lights, brakes, steering, and condition of seats and floor prior to beginning route; monitors conditions during shift and takes necessary actions.
    • Reports maintenance issues to the Fleet Mechanic.
    • Immediately reports accidents involving bus or passenger to superior and Police Department.
    • Insures that bus is kept clean and in sanitary condition.
    • Issues and collects tickets and transfers; records number of passengers; prepares and maintains accurate logs and reports number of passengers, activities during shift, etc.
    • Observes posted speed limits and all operation laws, regulations, and safety precautions.
    • Reports all out of ordinary activities to supervisor for immediate action.
    • Reports all complaints/criticisms to supervisor.

Saturday’s and some Holidays expected. Hours vary between 6:00 AM-6:45 PM, M-F and 8:15 AM-3:45 PM Saturday. . Must have a safe driving record.
