Transfer Box Truck Driver

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

This role is responsible for executing daily operation of visiting the Baltimore Market and collecting weekly clearance deliveries.  The Transfer Box Truck Driver reports directly to the Operations Supervisor.

What your day will look like:

• Drives furniture truck in the Baltimore Market in a safe and responsible manner
• Loading and unloading furniture in truck with the utmost care
• Contacts managers regarding pick-ups at their stores
• Assist with warehouse operations such as stocking/prepping in the event drop offs/pick ups may be slow.
• Acts in a professional and courteous manner always, represents the company in a positive light

Requirements

• Willing to submit to physical capability test and background check.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Willing to work at least 40 hours a week
• Ability to perform continuous lifting and moving of heavy furniture
• Can be counted on to be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts
• Ability to follow safety guidelines
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other team members
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems
• Adaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environment
• Desire to continuously improve
