Pay: $7,000.00 – $7,500.00 per month

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Independent Contractor Driver to operate a Sprinter van for <PERSON>. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Sprinter van to pick up and deliver packages across designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using manual handling techniques, heavy lifting, or equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking manual transmission functions, brakes, lights, and safety equipment.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
• Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices during route driving.
• Assist with warehouse activities as needed, including moving goods within storage areas or loading docks.
• Manage route planning to optimize efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks related to moving goods or equipment during pickups and drop-offs.
• Use courier skills to load, secure, and unload packages efficiently while maintaining the integrity of deliveries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on route driving and load & unload operations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> driver specifications preferred.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles such as Sprinter vans.
• Familiarity with warehouse environments, including using forklifts or pallet jacks for moving heavy items is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading tasks.
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicle operation is required.
• Prior experience in delivery driver roles involving heavy lifting, moving goods, or warehouse work is highly desirable.
