Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Part-Time Delivery Driver to deliver baby gear (such as cribs, strollers, car seats, etc.) to customers renting these items for short-term use. This role is ideal for someone with a large SUV, truck, or van, who enjoys working independently and is capable of light setup and occasional customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up baby gear from our Weddington, NC location (Zip Code: 28104)
- Deliver and, when needed, lightly set up baby gear at customer homes, hotels, or vacation rentals
- Follow delivery instructions and timelines carefully
- Provide friendly, professional customer service when interacting with customers
- Occasionally handle last-minute delivery or pickup requests, based on availability
- Safely and securely load and transport all items
- Ensure all gear is clean, damage-free, and set up to customer satisfaction (when applicable)
Requirements
- Must have a reliable large SUV, truck, or van capable of transporting baby gear
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Must be dependable, punctual, and communicative
- Able to lift and carry baby gear (up to ~40 lbs)
- Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation and communication
- Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers
- Availability for pre-scheduled hours and occasional last-minute deliveries, as needed
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours vary based on order volume
- Flexible scheduling – some shifts scheduled in advance, others may be same-day or next-day opportunities
