    About the Opportunity:

    As a Shuttle Driver, you will provide safe, reliable transportation for employees, legislators, visitors, and equipment throughout the Washington State Capitol Campus and surrounding area. You will operate a variety of light-duty vehicles, maintain shuttle cleanliness and fuel levels, support parking enforcement by reporting violations, and ensure accurate daily documentation through computer entries and written logs. This role also includes assisting with general departmental needs and performing other duties as assigned.

    Duties

    Some of What You’ll Enjoy Doing Includes:

    • Transport employees, legislators, visitors, and equipment around the Capitol Campus using light-duty trucks, passenger vans, and other shuttle vehicles.
    • Safely operate and maneuver all assigned vehicles in a variety of campus settings.
    • Clean, inspect, and maintain shuttle vehicles, including interior/exterior cleaning and fueling per DES procedures.
    • Support parking enforcement by reporting vehicles that violate parking policies.
    • Use computers and written logs daily to record times, passenger counts, and shift activities.
    • Other duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Valid driver’s license, free from serious traffic violations.
    • Ability to read and write in English, and perform work outdoors.
    • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact positively with a diverse population of customers and co-workers.
    • Flexibility to work varied days and nights.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • One (1) year of experience operating small, light-duty trucks and vans safely and skillfully.
    • Ability to transport and assist passengers in vehicles of fourteen (14) people or fewer.
    • Knowledge of rules for safe operation and equipment, state motor vehicle laws, and the rules governing the operation of state equipment, methods, tools, and materials used in service and maintaining equipment.

    Responsibilities:
    Safely shuttle customers to and from the dealership
    Tag, move, and park vehicles within the service area
    Assist with washing service vehicles using the automatic car wash
    Perform light clean-up around the service department (no heavy lifting)
    Support the service team with additional driving needs
    Run parts locally as needed

  • Vehicle Driver

    Salary: $21.50 Per Hour 

    Overview:

    Gift of Hope is proud to serve as the federally designated not-for-profit organ procurement organization (OPO) that coordinates organ and tissue donation and provides compassionate service to families of donors in the northern three-quarters of Illinois and northwest Indiana.


    Since our inception in 1986, we have coordinated donations that have saved the lives of more than 23,000 organ transplant recipients, and improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of tissue transplant recipients.     Delivery Driver for Dino’s donuts, delivering to our accounts using our company vehicle.

    Other duties include taking phone orders, running errands, light kitchen cleanup and maintaining company vehicle by washing, vacuuming, and sanitizing.

    Clean, current driving record required.

    Must be 21, capable to lift 40+ pounds and have an Alaska Driver’s License.

    PURPOSE

    To provide transportation for Guests and Team Members following all laws that are issued by local, state and federal governments for the safety of human lives using shuttle busses and passenger vans.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Drive all of Snoqualmie Casino’s fleet vehicles transporting guests and team members to various locations obeying all laws and driving in a safe manner.
    • Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections.
    • Report vehicle issues requiring attention or mechanical maintenance.
    • Keep interior of vehicles tidy and clean.
    • Monitor and assist with fueling of vehicles.

    Requirements:

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
    • Valid vehicle operator’s license; driving record will be checked to meet criteria in “Conditions of Employment”.
    • Class “B” or “C” CDL with passenger endorsement, for a vehicle designed to carry 16 or more persons.

  • Van Driver

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour

    We’re looking for a dependable and safe driver who can handle a cargo van. This is a part-time position with a few hours weekly to start, but can scale over time. Usually needed between the hours of 1:45pm-5:30pm on weekdays.

    Prior experience driving a cargo van or similar vehicle is required. No heavy lifting is needed, although light-medium lifting may be required. A valid drivers license is needed.

    • Acts as front-line point of contact to ensure delivery of quality customer service.

    As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company provided vehicle.
