    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

    We are looking for an experienced Water Truck with a Class A CDL to join our growing and award winning team in Southern California. This position requires a Tanker Endorsement and No Restrictions. Experience with operating a dump truck is preferred.

    This position requires strict adherence to all safety standards. Must wear required personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots, etc.) and participate in safety trainings and meetings. The candidate is required to work in compliance with all safety policies.

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities for this position (with or without reasonable accommodation) include:

    • Must be able to efficiently and safely operate water truck, and/or end dump truck on and off-road
    • Communicate with supervisor every day you are scheduled to work in regards to delivery instructions
    • Operate vehicle in a safe manner, using most direct legal route for transporting
    • Must transport equipment with attention to detail and emphasis on safety
    • Perform emergency roadside repairs
    • Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
    • Adhere to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as set forth by the US Department of Transportation
    • Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water on a daily basis
    • Ensure the truck is kept clean on the interior and exterior

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of truck driving experience required
    • Must have water truck driving experience
    • Ability to operate truck on/off-road(s)
    • Experience with dump truck hauling a backhoe is a plus.
    • Experience with flatbed is a plus
    • Must have Tanker and Airbreak endorsements.
    • Be familiar with CA DOT regulations and permit requirements
    • Required to pass pre-employment drug test/background check (This role is subject to federal testing requirements, which requires testing for cannabis despite state law)
    • Candidates must pass a post-offer physical examination to ensure they can perform the essential physical functions of the job
    • Required to have a current Medical Examiner Certificate

    Work Environment

    • This role is primarily outdoors on active construction sites. The employee will be exposed to weather conditions such as heat, cold, and rain, and will work near heavy machinery and moving vehicles
    • The noise level on site is often loud, and the environment may involve dust and fumes. Appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety vest, hearing protection, etc.) is required at all times.
    • Work may occasionally be at heights or in confined spaces
    • The employee is required to follow all safety policies and procedures and to actively participate in safety trainings and meetings. This position is classified as safety-sensitive

  • CDL Driver

    Salary: $47K – $67K

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Retrieve trailers from storage facilities or trailer suppliers as assigned.
    • Prepare both the truck and trailer for each designated test route.
    • Perform pre-route safety inspections on truck and trailer to ensure readiness and compliance.
    • Operate the truck and trailer on a 100-mile public road test loop, typically lasting four hours.
    • Run the route twice daily when required for urgent testing needs.
    • Coordinate with the customer’s test engineer, who will be present during each test drive to record data and results.
    • Capture real-world traffic conditions, including rush-hour scenarios, by starting routes around 8:30 AM.
    • Refuel vehicles as needed and maintain basic upkeep of assigned equipment.
    • Adhere to all DOT safety regulations and company procedures at all times.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid CDL license with trailer towing experience.
    • Current DOT Medical Card and all required compliance documentation.
    • Clean driving record and strong attention to safety.
    • Ability to perform light vehicle preparation and inspection tasks.
    • Reliable, punctual, and capable of maintaining consistent route performance.
  • Utility Worker

    Pay: $23.00 Per Hour

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior
    • Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
    • Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
    • Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes
    • Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
    • Report maintenance issues to supervisor
    • Other duties as required.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
    • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
    • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

    2. For appointment in certain agencies, possession of either a Class 1 or a Class 2 or a Class

    3 Motor Vehicles Drivers License, or a combination of these licenses, may be required at the time of appointment.

    3.     Summary of Duties of the Driver

    The Driver is responsible for maintaining the van and chauffeuring the residents to various activities and events in safe manner. The Driver may be responsible for establishing and monitoring weekly/daily transportation schedule as requested by supervisor. The Driver assists the Maintenance and/or Housekeeping Department with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and emptying trash. The Driver may also assist the Life Enrichment Department with supporting resident activities and functions.

    Salary: $39K – $54K


    Summary

    To safely and comfortably transport and deliver broiler chicks to Perdue Farms’ contract producers.

    Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Prepare chick transport vehicles to receive up to 115,200 newly hatched chicks. Ensure environmental requirements of temperature and air flow are within specs prior to loading.
    • Navigate a safe and cost-efficient route to Perdue contract farms, located primarily in North and South Carolina, but could be throughout the southeast region of the US. The goal is to get the chicks to the farm as quickly and safely as possible.
    • Perform routine, minor maintenance and sanitation of transportation vehicles.
    • Monitor, record and report on farm conditions at the time of delivery.
    • Maintain FMCSA safe driving requirements, including but not limited to Hours of Service and Driver’s Logs.

    Minimum Education

    High school diploma or GED

    Experience Requirements

    • Class A Commercial Drivers License
    • Reading, writing and math skills

    Experience Preferred

    Two years of commercial driving experience, or 1+ year with a driving certificate from an accredited trucking school

  • Metro Transit Bus Operator 

    Salary: $29.70 Per Hour


    Driving Record Requirement:

    • No more than two (2) moving violations within the past three (3) years.
    • No suspensions within the past three (3) years.
    • No revocations or withdrawals of license within the past three (3) years.

    Candidates will be automatically disqualified if they have any of the following driving related convictions within the past ten (10) years:

    • DWI/DUI
    • Careless or Reckless Driving
    • Inattentive Driving (talking or texting on your phone, eating and drinking, talking to people in your vehicle, fiddling with the stereo, entertainment or navigation system – anything that takes your attention away from the task of safe driving.)

    Language Literacy Requirement:

    What additional skills and experience would be helpful in this job (desired qualifications):

    • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger endorsement, and no restriction to Air Brakes.
    • Valid Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) with a Passenger endorsement, and no restriction to Air Brakes.
