Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and dependable Part-Time Non-CDL Driver to support our operations team. This position involves operating a variety of company vehicles, running routes using different types of equipment, performing roadside and facility cleanup, and assisting with light office tasks such as organizing and storing company tablets. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a part-time position; schedule may vary based on operational needs.
This position is Safety Sensitive. It requires drug and alcohol testing in compliance with 49 CFR part 382, this includes marijuana. This position also requires an active DOT health card. To get a DOT health card, candidates must have a valid Minnesota Drivers License.
Primary Job Duties
- Safely operate various company vehicles as assigned (no CDL required).
- Run assigned routes using different types of company equipment.
- Perform roadside and facility cleanup, including debris collection and site organization.
- Assist with light office duties, such as putting away tablets, equipment, and supplies.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support other team members as needed to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, or currently enrolled and actively working toward completion.
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license with a clean driving record (no moving violations) required.
- Ability to operate different types of vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions/work orders to complete daily assignments.
- Willingness to perform both driving and light labor duties.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. continuously throughout the day.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT health evaluation.
- This is a safety-sensitive position subject to drug testing requirements in compliance with 49 CFR Part 382, this does include marijuana testing
