Pay: $18.50 – $22.50 per hour
Position Overview:
As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by ensuring the safe and timely delivery/pickup of wheels and providing valuable assistance in our shop. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a combination of driving and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and Timely Deliveries:
- Operate company vehicles to transport wheels to various locations.
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of products to customers.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic regulations.
- Shop Assistance:
- Assist in the daily operations of the company’s shop.
- Handle basic tasks such as organizing inventory, cleaning, prep work, and light maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the shop.
- Customer Service:
- Interact with customers professionally during deliveries and pickups.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a positive manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of company vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a driving or delivery role preferred.
- Previous experience in autobody and paint repair a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
