Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
Duties
- Safely operate commercial SUVs to transport groups and individuals to and from destinations such as airports, hotels, and event venues.
- Load and unload light cargo, ensuring the safe handling of clients’ belongings.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order and compliant with all regulations.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, delays, or any issues.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle usage, including mileage, fuel, and any maintenance needs.
Experience
- Previous experience in driving commercial vehicles is preferred; experience with passenger transport services or bus services is a plus.
- A Class-D driver’s license is required.
- Mechanical knowledge for performing basic vehicle maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
