Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 Per Hour
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive a DS Logistics vehicle along your assigned route
- Pick up lightweight cardboard materials (not trash) from commercial recycling bins
- Take before and after photos at every stop
- Group and photograph unbroken boxes (important for company revenue)
- Deliver all collected materials to the designated recycling center (DC closes at 3:30 PM, Baltimore closes at 5:00 PM)
- Collect weight sheet from recycling center at the end of each route — this is required
- Maintain communication with dispatch during the route
- Share live iPhone location with dispatch at the start of your shift and keep it active until the route is completed and vehicle is returned
REQUIREMENTS
- Age: 21+ preferred
- Must have a clean driving record (copy required)
- Must provide a copy of your driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation to and from vehicle pickup location (Laurel, MD)
- Must have a smartphone with camera, GPS, and data
- Must be able to lift light to moderate cardboard bundles
- Must be on time, professional, and able to follow instructions
- Must respect company vehicles and follow usage rules (no unauthorized stops or passengers)
GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
- After 3–4 consistent weeks, part-time contractors may be upgraded to 5-day routes
- Strong performers may be considered for full-time contracts
- Additional route assignments and bonuses may be available over time
