Pay Rate: $30.00 to $35.00 + per hour. We pay based on experience and years of service
Work Hours: Day Shift, 8-hour workday; flexible start time
Work Schedule: Full time, with on-call rotation. Saturday’s December through March (if necessary
What you will be doing:
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Interfacing with customers and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner
- Conduct pre and post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment
- Loading and unloading fuel truck for delivery
- Making fuel deliveries in a safe and efficient manner to correct addresses
- Follow routes and time schedule
Qualifications / Skills:
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Valid CDL (minimum B)
- Tanker, Air Brake, and Hazmat Endorsements
- CDL AB preferred
- Pass DOT physical; criminal background check; drug and alcohol testing
- 1 years of oilgas delivery desired
- Ability to drive in a safe and courteous manner
- Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps
- Previous experience with data entry skills to input data on a tablet preferred
- Ability to maintain basic logs and records
- Able to remain professional and courteous at all times
- Maintaining a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Licensure and experience, not required
- Prior experience with fuel delivery
- CTEP Certified
- MA Propane license
- NH Propane license
- Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
- MA hoisting/crane license
- Medic First Aid and CPR card and be proficient in their application
