Job Summary

Shuttle Bus Driver. Must be 21 years of age. Must pass background check and drug screen.

**Paid CDL training and testing.

Responsibilities

Operates Shuttle buses or University vans to shuttle riders to various stops on campus, the VA Hospital or Research Park. Operates automobiles, light trucks, tractors and other equipment in order to haul, move, and deliver materials on, to, and from campus. Maintains vehicles such as cars, light trucks, and tractors by seeing that they are serviced regularly and by personally correcting and repairing minor problems. Performs physical labor related to moving, hauling, construction, and snow removal. May direct the work activities of part-time and newly hired laborers to insure that they understand and accomplish their respective job objectives. May perform related duties as directed by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

A valid Utah’s Drivers License; the ability to move heavy objects; and positive customer service skills required. A Commercial Driver’s License with a chauffeur’s endorsement or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) be required if the job responsibilities require the exclusive transportation of passengers, such as for the shuttle bus or VA van.
