Overnight Delivery Driver

Pay: $100.00 – $190.00 per hour

Meadowlark Logistics is seeking a reliable Overnight Delivery Driver based in Bismarck, ND, to complete two scheduled overnight delivery routes per week using a company-provided 16’ box truck equipped with a liftgate. This position offers a consistent weekly schedule with opportunities for additional work when available.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 16’ box truck with liftgate on overnight routes
• Operate a pallet jack to move pallets and materials
• Complete two dedicated overnight routes weekly:

Bismarck → Dickinson (Tuesday)
Bismarck → Devils Lake (Friday)

• Load, unload, and secure materials (light to moderate lifting required)
• Use liftgate for safe loading/unloading when required
• Communicate with dispatch throughout each route
• Follow DOT, company, and customer procedures
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and customer service standards

Opportunities for Additional Work

Drivers may have the opportunity to take on:

• Additional regional delivery assignments
• Fill-in / coverage routes for other drivers
• Special project deliveries
• Seasonal high-volume work

Additional work is not guaranteed, but reliability and availability increase opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Experience operating a pallet jack
• Experience operating a 16’ box truck (or similar vehicle)
• Ability to safely operate a liftgate
• Comfortable driving overnight and in all weather conditions
• Dependable, professional, and punctual
• Ability to meet route schedules and delivery timelines

(Box truck and liftgate training can be provided for qualified applicants.)

Compensation

• Pay will be discussed during the interview
• Compensation is based on route responsibilities and experience
