Roles and Responsibilities
- Inspecting, cleaning and general appearance of the delivery vehicle
- Loading items onto truck for delivery in a safe manner, check straps and cargo nets for proper working condition
- Deliver items to the jobs as quickly and safely as possible
- Communicate with all parties when there is a delay in delivery
- Assist with receiving and shipping in the warehouse
- Work with the forklift, pallet jack and carts to place equipment and bulk inventory items for jobs
- Receiving and placing items in the correct inventory location
- Scanning out the items and assisting with job material staging
- Conduct tool inspections
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Previous trucking and warehouse experience is required.
- CDL is preferred
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
- Physical Demands: Frequent sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Some standing, walking, reaching, and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the physical demand classification (PDC).
