Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, paratransit vans, and other commercial vehicles to transport clients to appointments, events, or destinations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the journey.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify proper functioning, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels; perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members using clear verbal skills; handle any issues or delays proactively.
• Assist with heavy lifting when loading or unloading luggage or mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of vehicles after each shift to provide a safe environment for passengers.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations or incidents by following established protocols and communicating with emergency responders if necessary.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., Commercial Driver’s License if required), with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar roles; experience with limousine or school bus driving is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clients and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently when handling luggage or mobility aids.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures related to commercial driving.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
