Salary: $20.00 – $25.00 Per Hour

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a range of vehicles such as limousines, shuttle buses, box trucks, and school buses to transport clients or goods efficiently and securely.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with boarding and luggage handling, and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle interior and exterior; perform routine vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times.
• Plan optimal routes to meet schedules while considering traffic conditions and client preferences.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding pick-up times, routes, or any delays; address passenger inquiries professionally.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and other mechanical components.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage logs, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for reporting purposes.
• Adhere to confidentiality standards when handling client information or sensitive documents.
• Support special event transportation needs or corporate shuttle services as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving roles such as limousine service, shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus operation (including school bus driving), or box truck delivery.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for larger vehicles like buses or box trucks.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations applicable to various vehicle types.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Ability to plan routes efficiently using GPS technology or traditional maps.
• Prior experience in hospitality or roles requiring high levels of customer interaction is advantageous.
• Physical ability to assist passengers with luggage or mobility aids when necessary.
