Base Pay: $4,000.00 – $5,000.00 per month

Job Overview
Join the Wiltse Towing Team as a Light/Medium Duty Tow Truck Driver, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. You will be the hero on the road, helping customers in need while ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

What you’ll do

• Operate light and medium duty tow trucks to transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions and determine appropriate towing methods.
• Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring minimal risk of damage.
• Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during stressful situations.
• Utilize conflict management skills to resolve any issues that may arise with customers or other drivers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is in top condition.
• Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Basic qualifications

• Valid Drivers License
• Live in Salem/ Keizer area
• Be able to pass a Background check
• Be able to pass a drug screen
• Experience in a medium duty Wrecker Preferred but not required
• Familiarity with Wrecker and flatbed towing techniques.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience as a tow truck driver or in a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
